| Christmas at RPS
A number of different things happen at Love Lane during the run up to Christmas. We have collected together some images from a number of different activities so you can get a flavour of how we celebrate Christmas in our school.
Rayleigh Christmas Lights

In many ways the start of Christmas in our school, is when the town has its Christmas Lights event in the end of November. Our school choir sing at the event, as do all the choirs from the otehr Rayleigh schools, the high street is closed and the whole community come together for a great night out. Our roving reporter was in town to capture the event for us. CHRISTMAS LIGHTS EVENT
Year 1 and Foundation Nativity

A school Christmas is never complete without watching a nativity performed by the very youngest children. This year was no exception and we were treated to some excellent performances of The Little Red Robin. The children excelled themselves as did all the teachers and other adults who made the show possible. NATIVITY
Christmas Bazaar

The Christmas Bazaar was again held in school time, and was an excellent blend of effort by the PTA and the children. Each classhad their own stall and competed to see who could make the most money. This year's winners were 2VW, but it was very close. The Bazaar made £1,138.53, which will be going into the fund to rennovate the pavilion at Spring Gardens. So a huge well done to all the children and a HUGE thank you to everyone who worked so hard in the PTA. BAZZAR
Sadly our last day of term events did not hapen due toth school closure so there are no pictures from the Carol Service at Holy Trinity church, because it didn'y happen, oh well there is always Christmas 2010.
